Scooter was diagnosed with FIP in January. After giving him an injection of medication every single day for 12 weeks and him going to the vet for blood work every 4 weeks we moved to the observation period. For the next 12 weeks I had to monitor Scooter for a whole host of symptoms that could signal a relapse. During the observation period he had to continue to have blood work and urinalysis done every 4 weeks. Last Friday was the 12 week mark of observation. I had his blood work and urinalysis done. We got the results today. SCOOTER IS CURED OF FIP! He has been given a clean bill of health! I want to say THANK YOU to all of my posh family who have helped me during this awful time! witchywoman77 @lmatt1123 what do you mean? I don’t have a paper saying his diagnosis. I could take a pic of his last vet bill. I can also show you a copy of the receipt for 2 vials of meds I’ve purchased so far.

witchywoman77 @lmatt1123 I’ve posted pictures in this listing showing the medication and syringes I’ve so far bought. They estimate it will take 19 vials of medicine for all 12 weeks of treatment. So far, I have bought 6. That was all they had in stock right now. I couldn’t afford anymore right now anyway. If there is any other pics you’d like me to post let me know. Thanks!

witchywoman77 @lmatt1123 I also added the two vet bills from last month. I put stickers over my address and phones numbers on the one bill. On the last bill you will see at the bottom info on FIP because that’s what he had been diagnosed with. I hope this was the documentation that you needed. If not please let me know. But that’s all I have right now.

pmetski11 30 years ago I was in the same boat with 2 Tonkinese who were attacked thru a window screen by a stray. Infected w/ FHV by the stray, both had severe cases with respiratory & eye involvement it took years to get them better, there was no treatment. My vet opened before hours and treated them everyday for months. It cost $$$$$. Both lived to be 19 and 20. Good luck, thank you for caring for this fur baby!

witchywoman77 @pmetski11 your story is so encouraging! I’m so happy your babies got better. It’s a struggle but every animal deserves the chance to live & have a long, good life. I’m doing everything I can for him. He’s improved so much on this medicine! We just have so long to go & it’s so expensive between the meds, syringes & monthly bloodwork. We are only at day 19 & he has to be treated for at least 12 weeks. Thank you for sharing your story!

lisapsoinos I understand, like all of us animal lovers do & love your cats, I have a cat now but have gone through the pain of losing my past baby, she was 19 but still heartbreaking & it was so expensive but glad I tried. witchywoman77 @ahomestyle_pm absolutely! The medicine was so expensive. Then getting $220 bloodwork every four weeks for 24 months. But he deserves a chance to live! Now we can move on and I can love him and spoil him and he can just be a kitty living his best life!
