St John Black & Silver Dress suit sz 8

Vintage St John chevron pattern dress suit, sz 8. The silver thread is very sparkly, sure draws attention! Black and silver tinsel-type thread, in a chevron pattern, on both pieces. Both pieces unlined. No shoulder pads in the jacket/cardigan. Jacket has had the top button removed and professionally steamed to look like the button wasn't there. You can see it was 2 black lines above the top button. Extra button is sewn in along the hem of the cardigan if you want to add it back on (see photos) . That button, and the button second from the bottom, have the center jewel/plastic piece missing, so you may want to replace the buttons. The dress has a small but tasteful slit on the left leg (see photos), that was professionally lowered, but if you want more of a slit, it would be easy to remove the stitches that were added to close it up a bit (see last photo). It has a hidden zipper and hook/eye clasp closure in the center of the back.
