This listing is for one vintage hand crafted artisan bat necklace art jewelry. This necklace is stamped with the artist’s name on the back and copyrighted 1991. I purchased this necklace years ago at an art show. I am the original owner. The bat pendant has some substantial weight to it. The chain goes through the back of the pendant. I believe the bat is holding a black onyx bead. It’s a ball and not a cabochon. The total length of the necklace is 22” long. The bag pendant is 3” at the widest part (wings). sparklechick1 @dawnk456 no stamp? Could it be sterling silver? It kind of looks like it. I have a dragon done like that, circa 1991, same kind of deal, but definitely sterling.

dawnk456 @sparklechick1 I’m not sure. I paid a lot of money for it 25 years ago. It’s a steal now! It is heavy so I am thinking some other kind of metal.

sparklechick1 @dawnk456 IDK if sterling or pewter is heavier. 🤷‍♀️ I guess they make pewter chains, but I’ve never owned one, just sterling or gold. But if he’s 3” wide, he’s probably pretty heavy no matter what. I doubt they’d put a pewter bat on a sterling chain. 😁 He’s so ugly he’s cute! Little pug face! I’m trying to decide if I really NEED bat jewelry, if you know what I mean, it’s sort of limited wear in my daily life, but I’m tempted! Soooo tempted!

sparklechick1 @dawnk456 What does it say across the back, specifically? Under the chain, can’t read it. I’m wondering if I can Google the artist’s name and see if they work in a particular material. Looks like “Fellowship” something.
