I just measured. My iPad is 10x7 and has plenty room. The max upright is about 10-12 inches the width has a larger amount and the ability to unsnap sides to make bigger.

It is black pebbled leather inside and out. With a red leather pocket inside of it. The flap on the front is black suede.
