This beautiful Vintage Fine Bone China Planter by Shafford depicts Mother Mary holding Baby Jesus. The graceful planter has such a peacefulness about it and has been finished in soft shades of creamy white and light blue. The piece has a glossy finish and has been accented with a sponged 22kt gold effect along the edges. The mid-century planter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.  There is a little minor discoloration along the inside edge of the planter portion. The piece measures approximately 6" tall, 4-1/4" wide and 4" deep and is marked with #4150 on the bottom. The planter's opening measures 2-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" long and is 3" deep.
