Gucci by Tom Ford F/W 1997 Coat and Skirt Set. This is a set of an incredible sharkskin wool/mohair jacket and skirt from Tom Ford’s forever iconic fall/winter 1997 runway. Both pieces can be seen together in runway photos in the listing. Coat is a size 42 and skirt is a size 44, measurements will be listed below. I’ve personally owned this set for years as a staple piece in my collection and never worn in personally. The condition is flawless except for 1 small wear mark on the back of the skirt. The coat also has buttons for a detachable fox fur collar which I regretfully do not own. The coat and skirt are in a sharkskin wool/mohair blend that shines metallic in the light and can only be fully appreciated in-person. I guarantee you will be stunned by the quality of craftsmanship and beauty. The skirt has a curved seam with elegant front slit. The coat has a chest pocket as well as 2 front slit pockets. Both are fully lined - the coat in cupro and the skirt in an acetate/silk blend. Once in a lifetime chance to get both of these timeless pieces together!
