Vintage peasant top midi dress with long sleeves. Boatneck bodice with plisse pleats front and back. Blouson sleeves gather at the wrist. Elastic waist with swingy bias draped skirt. Stunning teal color with floral print in gold, burnt orange, maroon, plum, and periwinkle. Gold satin piping trims the neck and armholes. Such a special detail you don't find in modern clothes! Double tie belt in the matching gold and teal. No tags for information, just a shred of one remains at the neck. Definitely polyester. Unlined, fabric is semi sheer. Model is wearing a slip. Size fits a Small or Medium. The elastic waist is quite stretchy and the top is loose fitting and will expand with the pleats. Model is a 2/4. Please check measurements: Waist 13" flat, stretches to 17" Center back length 43" In good vintage condition. Item is freshly washed. No stains. Colors are vivid. Elastic cuffs and waist are still stretchy. Stitches have popped at 2 points on the waist, about 1" long each. There are snags in the fabric, visible as puckering, on sleeves, bodice, and skirt. I photographed the major areas. They are less noticeable because of the print. One snag on the right sleeve has a tiny hole at the end of it. Light friction wear at neck. Pulled thread on the hem, but it's not broken.
