It's a continuous necklace, so it doesn't have an opening or closure. It's made from a long strand of white glass beads with a shimmery pearlescent finish that makes it sparkle in the light. They're all hand knotted on a Victorian purple/mauve thread. The bottom of the necklace has a small silver tone cross that leads to a tassel in the same purple/mauve that the rest of the necklace is strung on.
