tfornade @suuny80days Hi, the front of the purse has a Snap lock (aka fold-over) clasps and on each of the sides, there’s another clasp securing the sides and holding them shut. Hope this helps!

tfornade @robinblank I’ve had this bag for several years. Straps are holding up nicely. Expectedly, there’s some wear but nothing major otherwise I would not have posted it. What happened to the straps on yours?

tfornade @robinblank bummer! Maybe it was fake or an anomaly? Kate spade usually holds up nicely in my experience but maybe I’ve been also very careful with my stuff. Net net, this bag is a steal. There is some wear o. The sides of the straps ~ no leather is flaking off but there sides of the straps - which you can really see - are not new. This bag is a real deal for anyone who is interested :)

tfornade Typo - sides of the straps which you cannot see are a little worn. This does not impact find functionality nor does it appear like a general problem for the overall Condition. I try only to put out quality things that I would myself be happy and proud to buy/wear. Let me know if you have any additional questions
