Is this a true size 8. I have found that sometimes a 38 is more like a 7.5?

@smckenna243 I would say so, but the intricacies are always nuanced. I'm a size 38 in designer shoes, especially in boots, sneakers, and loafers. Certain pumps that I owned were 7.5 (particularly Gianvito Rossi and Prada) because there is no sock involved (or at the very least light hosiery), and my foot didn't come out of the shoe like in a 38. I prefer a fitted feel that gave me stability.

@smckenna243 I really love the feel in these boots no matter the sock, and for me, it is one of the only high-heeled boots I could stand in for hours! I haven't worn them since I moved to Miami, and my life has gotten more relaxed. I definitely don't desire selling them, but they shouldn't be tucked away in my closet either.
