I wore these boots 1 time for about 1 hour. They have a lug bottom with the signature C trimming around the top of the calf. Although very stylish and I do have to mention very comfortable, rain boots are just not for me. I have purchased a few rainboots but these would be my top choice. However I don't see wearing them again. I purchased them from Macy's and they had been in the boot box for over a year before I decided to pull them out and wear them. I did notice that the left boot has a slight ashy appearance (pictures shown) . Not sure if it is from storage or I received them this way. At any rate they are great rain boots.
