Vintage 1971 Pacific Stoneware Vase by B. Welsh Studio Art Pottery

Vintage 1971 Pacific Stoneware handmade folk-art style vase signed by B. Welsh. In 1960 Bennett Welsh purchased Pacific Stoneware, one of Oregon's longest running potteries. He began creating utilitarian stoneware in the folk-art style of the 1960's-1970's. He retired in 1973, however, Pacific Stoneware remained in operation until 1986. This Bennett Welsh Pottery Vase features large bands of blue with rustic tan/brown waves and circle pattern. Excellent vintage condition Signed B. Welsh 1971 Pacific Stoneware Inc. USA
