Vintage Gucci red clutch handbag envelope

smoke-free home. this is red leather authentic Gucci bag. it's brand new. with tag. unfortunately my mother has had it in storage for 35 years and the leather has cracked. she had no idea you were supposed to put Vaseline or beeswax on these bags to keep them from cracking. please see photos. from a 6 ft distance it's not noticeable. but certainly noticeable at 3-4ft range. comes with Gucci dust bag cover. absolutely gorgeous bag. I'm so sorry it's been in storage and not used. the inside is very clean. as it's new. the weather and zipper and emblems are in excellent shape. It's just the Red canvas part. I was showing it to my neighbor and my neighbor said you might could get a red marker to cover up the cracked places. but then I also googled and Gucci may be able to do repair. I don't know. measurements are approximately 13 in Long by 1.5" deep. height is approximately 7 and 1/2 to 8" .
