susiewalker874 I guess I missed your tutorial yesterday. I saw the flyer that said you were sick and thought it was for yesterday. I bought my first bags yesterday, a Coach leather zip bag, A Coach wristlet in excellent condition and a Mexican hand tooled leather bag. All very nice. Definitely going to need some tutoring. Had I known them what I know now. Her leather work was phenomenal. Unfortunately we lost touch over the years but I’d bet she’s still doing her thing and trying to find her!! How cool is that?!

labellala @fancythevoice so glad i could help. I’ve never had a white Chanel canvas, but i would imagine it’d be hard to clean. I prefer tans & pale colors to white. And Goof Gone spray usually works best.

labellala @citygrl312 as leather ages, it decomposes slowly. As it was a living creature. The smell is gases created from that process & they are normal for real leather. Griotts garage should fix it.

tandvodka Is there anything that can be done with Nicotine Stains? I washed a bag lining and when it dried there was a ring of nicotine all around the top of the bag 🤦‍♀️

labellala @tandvodka turn it i side out. And wash with warm water, dawn dish liquid. Suds it up and let it sut with a foam look. Wait at least 20 minutes before you rinse. The. Hang from the liner upside down.. to dry.
