Such a shame because it was a wonderful & popular family magazine that had been around for more than 60 years. This one is year 2003 edition of their Christmas magazine. When I ran across it I didn't have the heart to toss it out because it is full of great ideas for Christmas tree-trimming, lots of recipes like easy to fix one-dish dinners, snacks in jars that can be given as gifts & delicious cookie recipes that Santa will love & even has recipe cards in the back of the magazine. And, it has nutrition counts for each recipe. I didn't know they did that 20 years ago so was surprised when I saw them. It also has tips for gathering family and friends around the hearth, piano, or Christmas tree & sing old-time Christmas carols. If you have a CD of Christmas carols you can put that on & have a sing along with music as well. Add some hot apple cider, pop some popcorn & serve some of the cookies from recipes in this magazine. Sharing Christmas with loved ones doesn't get any better than this old fashioned kind of Christmas. "
