What US size would you say these would best fit? Your opinion

They are a EU39 which is equivalent to a US8-8.5. I would say they fit true to size. If you are close to a US9 your toes might touch the front of the shoe..If you have short toes, this may not be an issue. I am an 8.5-9 and these shoes were a tad bit small. I typically wear 39 in Birkenstocks but the heel strap on these sandals helps them fit more securely, so your heel can’t fall out of the back of the shoe.
