Purchased this vampalicous drop read beauty from @gatheringvintage. Since purchase have worn once and has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear. Such a glamourous vintage dressing gown from the 1940s! Rich, gleaming rayon satin in the sexiest shade of bright maroon pink. Gently fitted bodice with extra large and dramatic winged collar and ¾ length sleeves with oversized turn back cuffs. Floor length skirt with soft pleats at center front and large hip pocket with pointed wing detail flap that mimics the collar. Covered buttons from neckline to just passed hips, decorative button detail at each cuff. Small shoulder pads, original matching belt with buckle. Labelled ‘Styled by Barbara’ Dolly Myers, Seattle. Very good condition, tiny hole at collar and some light scrapes and a couple of picks over all that do not detract from the look or wear at all.
