This is a very very rare and early Betsey Johnson piece from her 80s "punk" label. It really should be in a museum as it is such an amazing representation of the eighties and a fabulous example of her work during this time period. It is cut from a t-shirt weight, cotton stretch jersey so really will hug and fit you through the torso. The sleeves are stupendously dramatic with a huge puff shoulder and skinny fit through to the wrist. The low drop waist gets an equally dramatic treatment with another exaggerated fullness that mirrors the shoulder built in at each hip. It is simplicity itself and yet extremely dramatic when on. You will not see this versions of her label often and to find such an extraordinary design is marvelous! A very rare, early, show stopping piece! unfortunately there are 2 Patched holes on the garment
