My great aunt has ALS (you can look it up if you are unaware), and her husband (my great uncle) recently passed away from pancreatic cancer. She is struggling right now, so if you could just pray for peace, comfort, and healing for her.

I was just praying to God when He reminded me to write back to you. So I dropped everything and went straight to the message. In the midst of writing back to you He revealed something to me. It states: “When God reminds you of something to do, those are the things that HE wants to do. You are His helper in doing so”.

eggcellent22 It is crazy how He speaks to and through people, and when you realize it was Him it is just this feeling of "wow, He did that, not me, I was just His messenger." I have had quite a few moments like that where someone out of the blue just has a moment where God told them to tell me something I needed to hear. At a Bethel concert, the lady behind me said she saw a vision of God digging a well in me. Moments like that just remind you how powerful He is.

eggcellent22 I will definitely be praying for you! Faith is a constant struggle, yet it is a blessing from God. I know I struggle with my faith, especially when hard things happen like my aunt getting als, or my teacher who committed suicide, it just makes faith hard. But those are the same struggles that make a person stronger, and eventually grow their faith in God. I pray that you will continue to grow in your faith and grow closer to Him everyday.

eggcellent22 I will write that quote on my mirror and look at it every morning before school. It also just reminded me of another prayer request. There was a recent school shooting in Tennessee. I was at school in the morning when we got the call saying that Covenant school, which is 15 minutes from my school, had just went through a shooting. I could not believe it. Just yesterday I found out that the shooter, Audrey Hale, had 3 locations on a list to choose from. My school was third on that list.

Thank you so much for sharing it with me. It is wonderful. And yes, we move away from Faith sometimes especially, as you said, in difficult, unexpected circumstances. Therefore, it is necessary for our well beige to stay in His word constantly and feed on it day and night.

eggcellent22 It could have been me. 6 people died, 3 kids and 3 adults. I knew the substitute teacher who died. It could have been us. Our community, families, schools, everyone in the area and all over the country are really shook up by this. I pray for peace, comfort for those families, and for wisdom. Many people out there are trying to bend this into a "the shooter was the real victim" kind of thing because she was different. But, they just need to open their eyes to the Lord.

eggcellent22 @martus my aunt is doing well. She is on new test medications that’s seem to be slowing down the ALS. She is miraculously going strong. Most people with ALS might have already passed by now, but she is still only in the beginning stages. It’s very slow, such a blessing. Prayers for her!
