Japanese Peacock Hand Warmer. Vintage 1940s

Hand warmer from WWII era. Based on lighter technology with a fuel reservoir, spring wrapped wick and the design perforations act as heat exchange. Stamped Made in Japan and Patent No 249642-268916. Used with blemish and patina throughout. Some loss of silver tone finish. Possibly functional but untested and will remain untested. Very nice shelf piece.
