If you’re an OG on PM you know about these scammers. This is to bring awareness to the newbies. These scammers are preying on people less familiar with PM. They will use deceptive wording in their descriptions & their photos are either stolen or stock photo images. They usually have tons of new designer items listed & for very cheap. Be aware the deceptive wording will protect THEM FROM YOU. receiving your refund so DO NOT BUY from these people. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE, it’s only headaches. I’m getting messaged daily about scammers. It upsets honest Poshers because once bitten twice shy -once someone is burned they’re less likely to trust & buy again. There are simple steps to check if a user is really a top seller or top rated. Go to their “about me” & click. That’s where you’ll find ratings & reviews. If someone lies in their listing description that’s the 1st red flag 🚩 that you don’t want to move forward. If the price & item looks too good to be true it probably is. If you come across a scammer or someone selling fraudulent items report their listings.
