Two brooches and one pair of screwback earrings. I am not certain what this material is. I've seen it called bamboo, wood and straw. There is one matching set - a swirled brooch and earrings. The additional brooch is designed as an insect. Certainly when you wear any of these items, they would be great conversation pieces. A fun item for summer time wearing.
