@tlvalls hi! I do not believe it to be altered. I purchased at an estate sale for my mother and she decided to do a different color. I’ve added photos of the only flaws I could see after a fine tooth comb over the piece. I would suggest a dry clean of course. It’s in great condition. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
