Vintage earrings designed with organic flowing curves and scrolls in softly brushed pewter. Quite elegant. Generously sized to get noticed, about 2" high by 1" wide. Although on the larger side, the brushed pewter gives them an understated panache. Their soft sheen and rounded forms compliment pearls particularity well. A nice Mother's Day gift! These are from Jonette's specialty line of jewlery in the mid 80's; stamped on the back "JJ©1986". JJ stands for “Jonette Jewelry Company" of Providence, Rhode Island. The company was created in 1935 by two brothers who decided to honor their parents by forming the name “Jonette” as a combination of their names, John and Etta.
