Meet CB Auder

Hello! I'm CB Auder, a paper-collage artist, writer, and homemaker--and I have lovely pre-owned books for sale 📚 🤓 ☕ 📚 These are in great shape overall, most have been in our shelves through thick & thin, from that house to this. When we thought we'd move house I started selling them here. Now, somehow, I'm utterly hooked on buying books? 🐮 I can't stop myself, they hold such promise! They're always on sale! Some people inside my head would call this a grave problem. To them I would say, "Honey, there are are worse things I could be doing with my days than curating analog information that I feel is helpful and important. I could be harrassing tussock moths, I could be licking the garden toad for no good reason, I could be teaching the yard bunnies to play whist." I don't even KNOW whist! I believe that knowledge matters, that actual facts actually matter, that we must do what we can to not let our collective expertise and social progress be erased by propagandists--and I feel that a shared understanding of complexity is essential to our ability to battle the challenges that now lie ahead, for us and all of life on this planet. These might also be fancy justifications because tbqh I just REALLY LOVE BOOKS 😭 Maybe you do too?
