Warm, thick, sturdy and waterproof (not water resistant, water proof) with a fleece interior. These are excellent for camping and snow sports. There is puckering across the Bridgedale logo and down the shaft. It does not effect the efficacy. Normal wear for a few wears dog walking in intense snow. There is minor pilling. These are a men's medium which fits a women's medium size 9/39 foot or a men's small. They run small. Purchased at the Scandinavian Outdoor store.
