I bought this brand new at least fifteen years ago (maybe more!) and wore it maybe once. It's a black & burgundy corset top with lightweight plastic boning in it. It won't really reduce your waist size, but it will give you a lovely shape. The fabric is an alternating shimmery burgundy fabric and a solid black fabric. It has silver tone hook and eye clasps up the front (no zipper). It's a size XXL. The chest measures about 20", the length is about 18" (length measured from the top of the bodice to the bottom - not including straps), the waist is about 18", and about 20" at the bottom. Those measurements were taken while the item was laying flat. The material has some stretch.
