This was my doll. Here is what I know. She was mine in the early 60's, has brown eyes that open and close, brown lashes, blond curls, 16" tall, has a "43" on her back as well as the small holes you see in the photo. I do not remember if she talked, but I assume those holes were some sort of speaker. SHe may be German beacuse that is where my family is from. Her body is harder than the head like plastic or composite and her head is soft plastic or rubber or vinyl. She is wearing a black and white checked dress with white collar and lace trim on sleeves and arms that has yellowed with time, the socks are also discolored. Under the dress is a white slip and underpants that are yellowed and the elastic has lost the stretch. She is wearing a red felt beret and red shoes. Mom kept her for me because I loved her, but it's time to go to someone else who might love her too.
