Peony Print Decoupaged Clam Shell Trinket Dish

Large clam shells decoupaged with pink peony paper. The exterior and edging of the shells are painted gold which really offsets the light green background of the paper and the pink of peonies. All the shells were collected along the beaches of Long Island, New York. Because they are natural shells, each shell has its own unique shape and size. However, they average 4.25" L x 5.75" W and 1" D. They are finished with a high gloss spray which gives them the appearance of a glazed ceramic. These would make a wonderful Mother's Day gift and are a perfect night stand catch-all for bracelets, rings and earrings.
