For sale is a J. Crew brand petite “Heidi” short bridesmaid dress, size 6P, in Newport Navy silk chiffon. It’s in good used condition, although shoulder straps have been shortened. Original price was around $250. Worn and dry-cleaned only a handful of times. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. This cocktail-length event dress is from the now-discontinued Jcrew “Weddings and Parties” collection. It has a fit-and-flare silhouette with tank straps, ruched surplice bodice, V-neck, fitted waist, and gathered, floaty skirt that hits above the knee. Fully lined, with a back zipper and boning in the bodice. The crinkle chiffon fabric is a very dark navy blue. Dry clean only. Ribbon loops inside to help with hanging. The tag size is 6P (6 petite). I am 5’2” and had a tailor shorten the shoulder straps to make it fit me better (see photos). When laid flat, dress is approximately 35” long from the top of the strap down to the hem, and the distance from top of strap to waistline is about 14” (see photos). There are no visible stains on the outside, but there is some white powdery discoloration on the inside lining around arm holes (see photos), likely from deodorant or makeup. There are also a few loose threads around some of the seams, including on one strap where the tailor shortened it (see photos).
