This collectible mid-century tin toy tambourine was manufactured during the 1950s by the U.S. Metal Toy Manufacturing Company and is a wonderful addition to any collection of retro toys. The front of the tambourine showcases a litho print design of Spanish dancers, a man and woman, surrounded by an array of party items, including a music staff, streamers, balloons, and more. The edges are decorated with various party items and favors, such as a top hat, champagne glasses, balloons, hats, and masks. There are three sets of unpainted double discs encircling the sides. The inside of the tambourine is painted in blue color and exhibits some paint wear, as well as the sides and top. There are some light surface scratches. It measures approximately 6 1/4" in diameter (excluding the discs) and boasts a depth of 1 1/4".
