I've had this shirt for probably 25 years, and while we did use it for a couple of on-stage gigs, it's been hanging in storage for 20 years.
Purchased in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa, in the late 90s, the fabric is a gorgeous printed burgundy cotton damask. Yes, like the fancy tablecloths. This is a fairly typical "dress" shirt for urban dudes in that part of the world - not exactly traditional style, but definitely traditional fabric. It's styled like a short-sleeved Cuban shirt, with 3 functional pockets and easily removeable shoulder pads.
I wouldn't call the sewing job professional, but considering the typical sewing machines used by most - usually ancient and foot-pedal operated - it's functional and looks great on. There are many adorable idiosyncrasies, like completely different fabric lining the pockets, and the nautical themed buttons more or less randomly spaced. Last pic shows a couple of small holes in the back of the collar. It's the perfect thing to wear to a garden party, with a pair of off-white linen pants or shorts. This is a shirt with a back story, if you like that kind of thing.
I've included measurements below - this is cut for a man, but if the measurements work, it's a fairly unisex style. Roughly size L?
Measurements taken flat:
Chest 22.5"
Shoulder 19"
Length 31"
Sleeves width 11", 14" Length from shoulder
Hips 19"
I'd suggest washing separately in cold water, hanging to dry, then iron - with some spray starch if you're fancy.
