Vintage “Tang Dynasty” multi color glazed ceramic horse statute “Chinese horse”

This tricolor, earthenware, ceramic glazed horse is also known as “Chinese horse“. It is a beautiful decor accent with a rich history and tradition in Chinese culture. The Chinese horse was a common gift, presented to other nations by China’s highest government officials. It is associated with China’s tang dynasty around 870 Forgotten for 1000 years, until excavation in the early 1900s. There is crazing in the glaze associated with age. It is in excellent condition and shows great skill in the painting, much better than other replicas I have seen. And it has more extensive use of colors. White in the photograph is a reflection, not a color of the horse itself.
