sizzlinred Hi. I am attempting to set up an extra shipping cost post. How is this done? How does Poshmark handle this. Do they take a percentage of this sale as well. If so how do you then know you are actually getting the right amount from the customer to cover the extra shipping. Thank you so much for any help you can give me🥰

teachposhrepeat @sizzlinred - Yes Posh takes their cut so you are left with .05 after buyer purchases. Once buyer purchases, you’re sent an extra label that’s good up to 5 lbs. When I know a buyer will need more than 10 lbs, I’ll have them buy 2 or more of these to support the shipment. I hope that helps!

sizzlinred @teachposhrepeat ok so how do you upgrade the label? I have items that I know are over 5 pounds just for the 1 item. I see that you can upgrade the label but how do YOU make sure to get the money for that upgrade? I made a post for $5 for additional posting. Would we just add that to the bundle to cover? Just want to make sure I get it right and won’t get scolded😆

teachposhrepeat @sizzlinred - there’s not really a way to get paid additional for shipping unless your buyer is willing to cover the shipping themselves. I know several sellers pay the upgraded label out of pocket as courtesy for their buyers - that’s an option you have as well.
