Antique (about 1910 to 1915) deep cut America Brilliant Period Glass, (leaded so technically crystal), water/lemonade pitcher! The glass making techniques of the A.B.P. stopped being used in production during 1920. Hand cut! As you can see in the pictures; the pitcher is uv reactive showing a yellow/green color. This is due to magnesium that was used in high-quality glassworks of the time. The magnesium both adds extra shine and would counteract any redish hues from the lead used. Pattern has both floral (sunflowers?) and geometric designs. No chips or cracks; mild scuffing along the bottom. This is a very large piece: two hands recommend while serving! Measurements: 4lbs 1.4oz, 11in tall, 6in wide base, 3 1/2in x 4 1/2in (lip flare) top. Beautiful!!!
