On March 18, 1995, Michael Jordan announced the end of his retirement with just two words: "I'm back." His return from the baseball field to the hardwood floor would mark a new beginning, symbolized by a new jersey number, 45. A nod to his late father and to his first number in high school, Jordan chose to continue wearing his Chicago White Sox number. He would wear this uniform for only 22 games, before switching back to his familiar #23, making this jersey a rare collector's piece.
