Charcoal grey-ish with leopard trim. I thought of it as a well worn black color but sometimes it looks almost gunmetal color. Just a little stretch. Intended to be worn open. The pockets are a plus and are the same on the left and right. You can go in the sides or the top (which buttons closed) and there is a roomy pocket on the inside. This was worn one time. The worn appearance was a design choice and not from actual use.
