This is a once in a lifetime find! This passport holder is like new (one callout - hold for that in a moment) and rare as can be. Gucci produced their products in Mexico for a very short amount of time in the 1960’s, mostly in 1966. Most were made with lambs leather. Smaller items (ie not purses) we’re stamped with the “Gucci made in Mexico” emblem and did not include a date or serial number. Google this - it’s pretty cool! So, the product! This is a unisex passport wallet with the small double C canvas and metal emblem in the lower right corner. Brown canvas and camel colored leather. Snap closure. Left side has a space for the passport and small papers (cash!) and the right side has three card slots and a flat pocket underneath (more cash). There is only one tiny flaw that I can find, which is a small crack in the piping of the leather border on the inside center fold at the top. I’ve put a picture of this in the listing and circles the crack. Otherwise, I’m amazed at how perfect this is! The piping is beautiful, the corners are crispy, the leather is nearly flawless, the canvas is clean, the snap is sturdy. The metal C’s in the lower right corner have a tiny bit of scratching that is barely noticeable. What an incredible piece to add to your collection!
