Vintage Gucci Horsebit 1955 Navy Leather Bag

This is a beautiful vintage Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag! (2/2 vintage Gucci bags I'm selling from my collection) Navy leather with gold hardware that is in great condition. I just cleaned and conditioned the leather so it's looking very soft and shiny! The inside has three large compartments and can fit a ton. Gold-stamped "Gucci - Made in Italy" logo on the inside flap with serial number on the edge of the outer compartment. The leather is honestly nicer quality than some of the newer bags they're making and has barely aged. It's super smooth and holds its shape very well. The navy color has come off slightly around some of the edges (along the seams of the flap and back) but is not noticeable unless you're closely examining the bag. Black edging is perfect on the bag, but mostly peeled off the strap Brand new versions of the leather Horsebit 1955 are selling for $3,250 on the Gucci Website. Notes on condition: - Front horsebit is slightly faded from rubbing in the middle, but it gives the bag a cool two-toned look. The rest of the gold hardware is still fully gold. - Scuffs on the top of the bag and the back from wear - Leather strap is pretty dried out but paint is in tact. Edging has mostly peeled off and will need to be re-done at some point - Bottom of the bag has no scratches, dings, or scuffs. Corners are slightly worn, but just need a bit of navy polish to look new again. - Leather is freshly cleaned and conditioned, and it's super soft. DM me with any questions!
