The glass body is hand-cut crystal and the lid is a hand-chased pull-off lid with floral decoration in sterling silver and sitting on a flat star-cut base. The piece opens at the top which is hallmarked on the side edge: in eight conjoined letters is MW ON COLD, with three English hallmarks ,an anchor, a lion head and h which indicating the piece was made by MW Ltd.of Birmingham in 1907. Will look sweet on any vanity table to hold your most precious pieces of jewelry or small mementos. MEASURES: Approx. 2-7/8" tall x 2-1/4”wide on base CONDITION: the glass jar is in very good antique condition, there are no chips or cracks. The silver lid has no dents.
