@jmcknz Honestly it could go for both an 8/10 or 10/12. The jeans are stretchy in the waist. All depends on your body type. I have thick thighs and a booty, the jeans fit tight in these areas. If you are on the less curvy side, the jeans will fit more comfortably. Hope this helps.
