Vintage Dooney and Bourke Croc Alligator Embossed Shoulder Hobo Bag. Measures12 wide x 9.5" high x 3.5" deep. The adjustable shoulder strap offers a 12" - 16" drop. The body of this bag is leather embossed alligator print in a rusty brown. The trim is actually a dark brown nylon. That means the strap, the rim, side trim, and base are all waterproof nylon. However, it is a well-made, nicely stitched structured bag. The red, blue, and white interior tag has an ID number on the reverse side and made in the USA on the front side. The base has 6 brass feet to further protect the bottom. The Dooney and Bourke brass tag hangs proudly on the front of the bag. The inside features one zippered pocket. This vintage Dooney and Bourke is remarkably clean and ready to use or display. This bag, at first, presented a conundrum. I researched that it was manfactured for a specific department store. Therefore, the price reflects the fact that not all of this purse is leather.
