Authentic hand stitched Kantha quilt from India. Absolutely stunning. Measures approximately 90"x 106" inches. Would fit up to a queen sized bed. Beautiful as a throw, bedspread, draped over a sofa or table, or as a baby blanket. Reversible. Colorful silky patchwork on one side, and solid cotton on the other side. Kantha are made from layers of saris, sewn together by hand with the Kantha running stitch across the entire piece, giving it a wavy and textured look. This is a vintage hand stitched Kantha quilt, and so you will see some white thread stitches that may have come loose and a few ink blots from the dye. These are minor inclusions to be expected with a vintage piece and add to the charm and exotic allure. Please study all pictures carefully.
