I purchased this in the 1980's. This is a swirled blackware pot with bear heads by Hector Ortega, a well known Mata Ortiz potter. He is known for his animal heads over highly polished blackware. This pueblo was formed by a mix of Apache and Mexico natives. 9" tall. 7" wide?
