Depression Era green glass uranium glass"Dolphin" (fish) Candlestick Candle Holder. These are Fish (Koi Fish?) but are often labeled as Dolphin candlesticks. I don't know who makes this, but an almost identical item was listed as Tiffin. So my best guess is that this is also by Tiffin.
Approx. 9" tall and 5" across at base.
This is a stunning piece! EXCELLENT vintage condition - no chips, cracks, nicks scratches, etc. Glows under blacklight.

My take on this is that because this style of "dolphin" has been around since the 1800's, it's a depiction of the folklore version that you would typically see on those old world maps that included "sea monsters"... it's a beautiful piece.
