Is there a patch on the black polka dot side in picture 4? Is it a red or more a pink color? How old is the jacket and the condition of the jacket. Thank you

@anita_herring the patch is on the pocket on the reverse side. It is new never worn, I gave as gift to
My daughter, it was too big for her. It’s a beautiful
Jacket.

@redtag333 Hi, I wasn’t asking about the label on the pocket. I was asking about the white polka dot on the inside of the jacket that had a small black patch that appears to cover one white polka dot on picture 4 near the right center of the jacket. Was that there when you purchased it and/or is it a repaired rip on the white polka dot side? I wanted to wear it on both sides and that was the reason for my question. Thanks for all your help.

@anita_herring oh yes, I had not noticed it. It is part of the design the stitches go all thru the patch as the
Jacket is stitched. It is not a repair. I’ll take lose up photo
Of it for you. It is as new not worn.

@anita_herring Meiko jackets often have patches on them! It is a part of the design that she uses!

@anita_herring Meiko has always used vintage sari materials and previously, SHE stitched them together, now I see she has farmed her work out! I have a few of her very first pieces and one of the first purses that she made. My coat is so old, it was a part of a trunk show, in Santa Fe NM! It needs some new patches, lol..

@anita_herring I was a huge fan upon sight because of the seams on the inside and outside, those a French seams and the seamstress in me said WOW!

@jillatrabbit I do love the idea of making something new out of something old(vintage saris). Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
