(India)" Approx. 3.5" W x 2.5" L x 1.5" D 3) Rectangular, high-gloss black lacquer jewelry box inlaid with beautiful iridescent mother-of-pearl. Peaceful scene depicts house with waterwheel, trees and bamboo, mountains and clouds, ducks flying and floating by on the water. Mirrored, hinged lid and lockable closure (lock not included). At least 40 years old. Very good used condition; some minor scratches and scuffs, most unnoticeable except for a scratch and wear on the lower-left corner of lid (see last pic) and chips inside. Top tray lifts out. Red fabric pieces (ring holder, bracelet holder, box liner) are not glued in. Interior smells a bit like incense or potpourri.
