Purchased from second hand store who authenticated the bag. I cleaned it a bit more and the inside does show some wear as well as the handles, but still a beautiful handbag.
Last two pictures show very faded date code beginning with SD I believe.

@kaigeho hi! To be honest with you the bag is so old that the date code has faded but I can make out SD on the inside left tan under the pocket. I will add a pictured as well.

@schwenpa added a photo! You can see there are stains in the one side from whatever stained the inside of the purse. I have wiped it down and polished the brass and cleaned the inside and I was unable to remove the stains on the inside or the bottom.
