This beautiful piece is entirely hand painted. It is an extremely rare piece that is hard to find and the pattern has been discontinued. When I purchased this set the pattern was called "Serpentine". The copies are called "Twisted Loops" pattern. You can find copies of the originals on Amazon but they do not sell the vintage originals. The cobalt blue is one of the factory's signature colors. It is so vibrant and beautiful! This is one of the most beautiful designs with a large amount of hand painted swirls with cobalt and 22 karat gold. Material: hard-paste porcelain. Measures: Cup diameter 4.1", height 3.5". Capacity 10.9 fl.oz/325 ml. Saucer: Diameter 6.3", height 0.91". Shape: Classic. Shape designer - N.Slavina. Pattern Designer: G.Shulyak It has the red LFZ monogram export backstamp with red "Made in Russia" used from 1991 to 2002. It is also stamped with 1C, which means First Quality. Due to the hand painted aspect it is recommended that the porcelain be hand washed in warm water with mild detergent. All of my listed Russian Porcelain was purchased in 2001 directly from the Factory in Russia. The pieces are all unused, in new condition, no chips, marks, nits etc.
