arosen1950 so, its 16" in length in total. Also, if yes it is 16" in length, can the clasp be changed out---alergic to sterling silver. thanx

arosen1950 Are the white jade beads translucent; can see through them? Are there knotted strings or fabric between each bead? thanx . A.Kaye

chirlyn @arosen1950 semi translucent. If you look at the photos closely you can sort of see the string the beads are on. On string, but not knotted between each bead like pearls. Feels secure. Clasp is ss. Let me know if that answers your questions.

chirlyn @lurinda1927 no problem. I don’t see the string inside the beads without strong light and magnification. My eyes are not what they used to be…but my answer is you can’t see the string.
